It’s common to think an actor has to be loud and extroverted to make it and sell themselves. I am very much an introvert and if I try force that to change within the industry I will be being un-authentic in the way that I work.
I want to show the creative industry that being quiet and subtle does not make you any less passionate and excited. That not all actors are loud and outgoing and there are qualities within us quiet folk which add to the strength and kaupapa of a working team.
